So I met this guy....his b-day is March 5th, a pisces. Is he a good match for me sign wise? Sorry, clueless here.

ive heard that this is a great match
personally, have dated one before too
it was really good, but i eventually hurt him and he never forgave me
pisces will hang onto things forever(water tends to do this)

hm it really depends, once again, dont go off straight sun sign matching. Find out what his venus is, and what yours is, as well as the other aspects. pure sun sign matching isnt the way to go, but having said that there are a few things that you could say, purely from a sun sign comparision.
First of all, being a capricorn woman, you will be fairly driven, in life but especially work and achieving certain things. Your piscean friend might not share this same hardcore drive, he may be more relaxed and go with the flow in regards to life etc.
Overall, and forgive me, im trying to be as diplomatic as i can, the female capricorn will most likely dominate the piscean, as their soft hearted nature, can be crushed by our cynical, gloomy ways, especially as pisceans tend to absorb the feelings of others, bringing them down too.
My advice is, keep it light, dont force him to do anything (as to dampen his spirt) and importantly, let him soothe you, pisceans are great for relaxation (note how im talking in terms of using him, thats something else we have to watch out for). But regardless its true, they can help us relax and calm us down with their watery healing ways.
I just picture a capricorn woman to go after a similar powerful male, and pisceans dont usually emulate this figure. although they are powerful in other more mental/spiritual ways, not in the materialistic powerful ways us capricorns usually admire. ie the man in the suit as opposed to the artist.
All this should be fairly accurate depending upon how many earth signs he has on his chart. Find out his time, year and place of birth and do a full chart analysis.

Unsu...
i would look at synastry and composite charts. also i have found that the moon has been much more significant in relationships. i dated a pisces guy some time ago for a little over 5 yrs. it was the best and worse relationship i have had up to now... it was very intense, emotional, and sexual. but i look more at the moon here... his moon was conjunct my cappy stellium. also currently i am talking to another pisces and his moon is exactly opposite mine.
i hope that helps,
serafina

the truth is that there is no exact formula for: Will this be good or bad? so i recomend that unstead of asking will this be good or bad, you ask : How will this be? what i like to do is go super general and then slowly focus inward as i have more information. for example: capie is an earth sign and pieces is a water sign. well theres enough info there to keep you busy for hours. how do earth and water interact? : waterfalls, mudslides, quicksand. groundwater, the grand canyon. these are all metaphorical aspects of a physical interaction. metaphorically speaking think of your relationship like a river. likely to start out rough like a headwaters with much turbulence then flow smoth and molodiously for miles then a sudden drop then a pool then a slowly carved deep and everlasting canyon. of course this is just a metaphore but something to think about.
however there is one very important thing to kep in mind about water signs. they may apear to flow smothly but underneath there may be a strong curent ( may be good or bad) they are not nearly as grounded as we are so when wierdness happends that you just dont get. try and just go with the flow : )

easy on the negativty capricorns. i actually think this is a good combination. I get along with pisceans very very well, but this is due to my piscean moon (and probably mars). a better analogy for earth and water is a container that actually holds water. We help to contain the water, keeping it together and stable - but i guess this does work to the effect of keeping them bound/dominating them.
another analogy is a plant, water gives life to soil, and in turn helps the plant to grow. and it is this image that is at the core of a earth water relationship. it is very much life giving and nurturing for both parties. with both feeling at home together.
Water signs are generally always good for us, but do a proper birth chart analysis none the less.
Let us know how it goes -

I didnt see myself as being negative only analytical. there are positive and negative aspects to everything. ignoring them does no good. one must be careful not to see negativity when in actuality there is only necesity. Its like the weather man. always apologizing when it rains because everyone hates the rain and likes sunny days. unfortunately they also like trees, plants, and animals. and things like eating and drinking clean water. none of these things would be posible without rain, so in fact we should rejoice every time it rains, without it we coudnt live. relationships are the same way. if youre stomache doesnt feel like a badger is trying to claw its way out of it when you talk to a girl shes probably either your sister or just not right for you. extreme example but true nonetheless. relationships are messy without exception.
finally i just wanted to say that a river is the ultimate "container of water" water must flow per gravity and gather at the lowest point. it is this interactoin of earth and water that contains it and distributes it throut the land. if it wasnt contained thusly it would simply evaporate and the earths natural irigation system would produce no plants or animals. in fact the earth its self is one big "jar" 2/3's of the serface is covered in water and much of the air is made of water.
yes earth creates bounderies for water. this is good water needs bournderies or it would mearly stay vapor. it is the great circle of the elements. if you look up chineese medicine they have a brilliant graph that shows the cycle of the elements its much too complicated for me to write but its facinating.
ok one last thought. ( i lied earlier) if you put water in a jar it goes stale, but if you alow it to flow over rocks and falls it becomes airated ( yet another elemental interaction) and becomes fit for suporting life. add a dash of sun and viola! The circle of life. -

Well this Cap gal has been with a pisces guy for 9 years and it mostly has gone well, we are marrying in October this year! Sometimes we can butt heads, as we both find it hard to give in when we feel strongly about things. We do share an appreciation for the finer things and good humour, both very important to us both. Perhaps he's atypical but he does have good earning power and is much admired in his industry. Overall we are very happy together and truly enjoy each other.
